Hounsditch London Slop feller
of the said Edward Smith< no role > , of John
Gould

Butcher near Cripplegate Church ,
of Ann Low< no role > his Servant , and
of Elizabeth< no role > the Wife of the said
John Warmington< no role > and of the said John Warnington of Wm. Allen< no role >
Clerk to Mr. John Coles< no role > of the
Cross Keys Inn Smithfields ,
taken upon Oath before me [..]

Majesty's Justice of the Peace
for the said County of Middlesex
this 31st. Day of Dec. 1788

And First this Informant Samuel Warmington< no role >
for himself Saith that the person now present
calling himself Thomas Giles< no role > came to the Shop of
this Informants said Master Edward Smith< no role > in on
Hounsditch aforesaid about eight o Clock on Thursday
Evening the 18th Instant in Company with a Young
Woman who Appeard to be with Child and Who
this Informant has since been told is the Wife of the
said Thomas Giles< no role > And that the said Thomas Giles< no role >
then bought of this Informant a Green Striped Bath
Surtent Coat a pair of Corderay Breeches & a
Woman's Duffell Cloak of a Lend Colour in payment
for which Articles the said Giles offered the Informant
a Banbury Bank Bill for Five Guineas which he
took and gave Giles the Difference in Cash And saith
that
