The Information of Anthony
Williams

Post Office in Saint Mary Overy's
Church Yard in the Borough of
Southwark taken upon Oath before
me [..] One of
his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the said County of Middlesex
this 31st. Day of December 1788

Who Saith that Thomas Giles< no role > the person now
present has for about three Months been employed
as a penny Post Letter Carrier to Deliver penny post
Letters. That he was employed on the 18th. of December
Instant to deliver both General and Penny Post Letters
at Lambeth Marsh and that he Set out from the said
Office with the Second Delivery of Letters about two
o'Clock on the Afternoon of said Day And returned to the
said Office between 5 & 7 o'Clock in the Evening
That he Accounted for and paid the Postage of the
Lettersthat Daygiven to him that day for Delivery as Usual.
