The Informations of Ann Sanders< no role > , James
Stewart
< no role > , Francis Ashby< no role > , Samuel Sudlow< no role >
and Samuel Yarroll< no role > taken before [..] us this
27th. day of May 1789

Who being severally upon Oath say, and first the said Ann
Sanders
< no role > for herself says that on Saturday the 20th. day of
December last about a Quarter past Nine o' Clock in the Evening
she was assaulted in Dover Street by four Men who knocked her down and robbed
her of a Bundle containingofTen Dozen of Skins called Head Kidds, and that a
person now present who calls himself John Lorne she is
very sure is one of the persons who so knocked her down and robbed her as aforesaid
And the said James Stewart< no role > for himself says that
on Saturday the Twentieth of December last about a Quarter
after Nine o' Clock at Night as he this Informant was comming
down Dover Street , he heard a Woman calling out Murder and
that she was robb'd, that he saw the Informant return Ann Sanders< no role >
rising from the Ground, and being inform'd that a Man had robb'd
her of a Bundle and was just ran down Albemarle Street
thathe this Informant immediately pursued him,but before
and when he came up to him, he found him in the Custody of the Informant
Francis Ashby< no role > , and this Informant further says that a
person now present who calls himself John Lorne is the
person he so pursued and found in the Custody of Ashby as
aforesaid and whom he took to the Watch houseAnd the said Francis Ashby< no role > for himself
says that a little after Nine o' Clock at night on the said
Twentieth Day of December last as he was comming down
Albermarle Street he heard the Cry of stop Thief, that he
saw a Man running with a Bundle whom he pursued
but before came up to the said Man he dropp'd the
