The Information of Stephen Lushington< no role >
of No 49 Harley Street< no role > Cavendish Square Esquire
and Thomas Calton Butler to the said
Stephen Lushington< no role > taken on Oath before me
this 7th. day of May 1789.

Who being on Oath severally say and first the said
Stephen Lushington< no role > for himself says that the Prisoner Robert Crump< no role >
has been his Amder Butler about three Months and was to have
been discharged his Service on Monday last that having reason
to Suspect said Crump had robbed this Informant of Wine And
on his coming this Morning to be discharged he went with said
Robert Crump< no role > to the China Closet where said Crump's box was
Wherein at the bottom under his Cloathes Eight bottles of different
Sorts of Wine wrapped in Paper uponIndiaSubjects respecting
India were found and which eight bottles of Wine this Informant
verily believes to be his property and to have been Feloniously
Stolen in his Cellar And for this reason that the Mark upon the Seal
of one of the bottles found in his box exactly Corresponding with the
mark of two bottles now produced taken out of his Cellar this
morning together with said Robert Crump< no role > 's afterwards Confessing
that he had taken five or Six bottles. And the said Thomas
Calton for himself says that he was present this morning when
eight bottles of Wine were found in said Robert Crump< no role > 's box And
that the single bottle of Wine now produced is one of the eight bottles which
were so found And this Informant further says that he has been
Butler to the said Mr Lushington about two Months during
which time the said Robert Crump< no role > has had no care of the Wine
in the Cellar and further says that the other two bottles of Wine now
produced he this Morning fetched out of his Master's Cellar by his
Direction [..] in order to compare with the Single sealed bottle
now produced
