Who being upon Oath say, and first the said Edmund

Esquire Saith that last Night between the hours of
eleven and twelve o'Clock as he was endeavouring to
enter the Opera House
in the Hay market
(at which
time he had in his Pocket a Metal Watch a cornelian
Seal set in Gold a gold hook and a gold key) a
person now present who calls himself William

forced himself violently against him
and immediately after ran from himThat this
Informant missing his said Watch, pursued said
Richardson down the Haymarket
and caused him
to be taken into CustodyAnd further Saith that he [..]
[..] doth verily believe that the said Richardson is the Person who
stole his said WatchAnd the said John Atkins< no role >
for himself saith that he apprehendedwiththe
said Richardson with the Assistance of others last
Nightatnear the Opera House
