he left on Tuesday the first Instant on board the Diligence

to which Ship they all three belonged to says Thomas Peters< no role >
over persuaded him to lend him a hand to take the said Boot away by Howing them in
Peters bedding that he went with him to Charlotte Wood< no role >
to get them pawned and after went to
sell them says he did not receive any part of the mony the said Boots were pawned or Sold for

see them until he Opened his Bundle on Shore when he asked James Cooper< no role >
how he came by
the Boots who answered he brought them out of a Greenland Ship. and on Asking him what
he meant to do with them said to pawn them. Says he delivered the Boots to Charlotte Wood< no role >
to
pawn them by his desire and received of her Three Shillings That having spent said Sum He
did said Charlotte Wood< no role >
go and sell them out and out which she did and brought him Eighteen
pence more Ten pence of which he gave to James Cooper< no role >
to pay the Postage of a Leather who was
with him the whole time. and partook of the Liquor which was paid for out of the said Sums
received for the said Boots
