Who being upon Oath say, and first the said James
Groves< no role >
saith that about nine oClock in the Night of the 22nd. of March last
he this Informant was robbed on foot in a Lane near
Sipshain
in the County of Middlesex
of a Silver Watch half
a Crown a Dollar and about three Shillings in Money by two Foot Yards
That the next Morning he this Informant called at the said
Chaise and Horses on Smallbury Green
in order to relate the
particulars of his being robbedThat in the Tap Room
of said Alehouse he saw two persons now present who
call [..] themselves William Sibley< no role >
and William Cousins< no role >
eating and drinking, but who on this Informant entering
paid their Reckoning and went awayThat Informant
then asked Thomas Huggins< no role >
the Landlord
of said Alehouse if
he knew them, who replied that he did not, and Informant
told him the manner of his being robbed and that the
believed said [..] Sibley to and Cousins were the persons who
robbed himhad further says that he doth verily believe
and suspect that said Sibley and Cousins are the Footpads
that so robbed him as aforesaid And the said Thomas Fry< no role >
for himself saith that at the time the said James Grover< no role >
was
came into his said Master House he well remembers the
said Sibley and Cousins being in the HouseThat they both went
