Information & Depositions taken agst. James Rose< no role >
Charged on Suspicion of Felony.

Wm Pritchard< no role > Whitechapel Road Side Whitesmith
on his Oath says the Iron Anvil produced is his property
That he saw it safe in his Shop (which he has let
to Joseph Facon< no role > with all the Working Tools the
said Anvil included on Saturday night last about
the Hour of nine and the said Shop fostned by
himself which in the morning of Sunday last he
found had been broken open and had been robbed
Joseph Facon< no role > on his Oath says he rents a Shop of the
before named William Pritchard< no role > with all the Working
Tools therein That the Iron Anvil produced is one of
the Tools and the piece of [..] Steel produced is his property
which he had been at Work on in the said Shop about
a Week ago.

Timothy Gray< no role > of Wentworth Street Whitechapel Barber
on his Oath says on Sunday Morning last about a Quarter
before six The person present who says his Name is
James Rose< no role > came to his house with the Basket, Anvil land
piece of Steel produced and asked to be shaved which he did
That he went to the Alehouse saying he would he back in
a Minute and Soon after [..] John Clerk< no role > came in and asked
what was in the Basket who looked into the same when
seeing the said Anvil and piece of Steal which he took to
be Iron Clark went and fetched William Box< no role > says himself
went with Clerk and shewed him James Rose< no role > who had left
