Thomas Fuller< no role > a Servant to the late Mrs. Horseman
on his Oath saith he knows Joseph Rickards< no role >
who was a fallow servant of his and was turned
away on Thursday month before. the Accident
happened. And afterwards came frequently.
to the deceaseds House for Victuals which Mrs.
Horseman gave him without the deceaseds
knowledge in hopes of keeping him out of Bad.
Company. saith that [..] one morning about
a fortnight before ye accident happened he.
went up to Bill Horsemans< no role > Room to call him
ash had three Cows to Mill and when he
came into the Room the said Joseph Rickards< no role >
was in Bed with this Examinants Bed fellow
Lowless. and seeing an orange upon the Table.
Examinant look it up & asked he wit came there
Bill Houseman< no role > said Joseph gave it him so as
knight not say anything of his laying there to
his Master. the said Joseph Rickards< no role > had all his
Cloaths on saith that the deceased and this
Examinant used to get up together at 5 oClock
each Morning and when they rent out used to
leave the back Door of the House upon a Latch.
so that any one might get in saith that on
[..] Saturday Morning the eleventh instant
about twoa little after one o'Clock he was alarmed by something
in the Room which lightened this Examinant
and he crept under ye Cloaths and soon after
went to Sleep. Saith he waked soon after
