Mary Atwood< no role > the Sister to Mrs. Angus Saith
That she Lodges at her Sisters - That she was at
home all the Evening of Monday last untill Eleven
oClock That she had been at Supper with her
sister and Clifton up Stairs - That Clifton and
her Sister went down Stairs about a Quarter of
an Horn before her - That when she came to the
Bottom of the Stairs which are near the Door she
saw Mr Davis with a Gun in his Hand at his
Window up one pair of Stairs with the Window open pointing it towards the Door where her Sister
and Clifton and the deceased were then standing
That a Candle was burning on a Table by the side
of the Door And there is a Lamp within Three Doors
of her Sisters House-Thatand there was a light
in Davis's Room - That as soon as she got
to the Door Davis fired the Gun - That her
Sister Clifton and the deceased were all together
nearly in front of the Door - That the deceased
was shot in in the Right Eye, Month and left
Breast - That Informant cryed Murder
and Then Davis came over and said "what have
I killed this innocent Man" That he also said
curse upon all Thieves that was the Cause of this
and appeared greatly moved - That this was
the only firing which Informant heard
