The Information of Peter Holdcroft< no role > Taken the 13th. Octr . and Sworn the Sixteenth day of the same Month
before us two of his Majestys Justices of the peace in and for the said County
Peter Holdcroft< no role > On his Oath says this Morning about a Quarter of an hour before

Three in the Morning a Man Came to him as he was in his Watch box in New Gravel
Lane and told him there was a great Disturbance in the house of the person present
who says his Name is Joseph Young< no role > by two Men who had brought an Anchor
into his said house who he wanted to take the same away and would not
That he went to the said house where he saw An Anchor which is now produced
and Thomas Moody< no role > and JohnSwintonSwainston< no role > and one other man who with the man that
came to fetch him The said Joseph Young< no role > said were his Lodgers Says That said Joseph
Young
< no role > told him that She said Thomas Moody< no role > and JohnSwintonSwainston demanded half a Guinea
of him and he would not give it to them and that said Thomas Moody< no role > took him on the
outside of the door of the said house and told him that was the house meaning the house
of Young that he was sent to get half a Guinea from M. YoungThat Said Young
told him to take the said Thomas and John to the Watchhouse when they gave him Charges
of the said Joseph Young< no role > That they went quietly to the Watchhouse where he delivered them
in charge and went with Two other Watchmen and the said Joseph Young< no role > by Order of their Officer to bring the said Anchor

Further says on Crop Examination that he heard from Two
Women at half past Eleven last night when [..] on his beat near the said house That
an Anchor had been carryed [..] by where he then stood to the said house by some men and
that these Two men were near them at the Time
