The Information of Thomas Morgan< no role > of Bird Street
in the Parish of St. George Middlesex Pilot taken this 16th
day of Octr. 1786 who being on Oath says on Thursday night
last about the Hours of Eleven he brought his Skiff having the Anchor now
produced therein to a Their of Ships lying near to Wapping Old Stairs where he moored the said Skiff That
on Friday Morning last between the Hours of Six and seven he went to the
said Stairs and not finding the said Shiff at the place where he moored her he
went to look for her and found her at a Tharf near Ridniff Stairs [..] Not having
the said Anchor Skills or David and away thereinThat the Iron bolt which Fastened said Skulls
was broke and all the said Articles taken out of her
