March 1784.
Who on their Oath say and first the said Mary Cox< no role >
Says that
on Saturday last in the Afternoon She left Ann Gimmell< no role >
now present in her House to take care of it Whilst this Informant
went out That when this Informant returned the said Ann
Gimmell< no role >
was gone and had robbed her House of John Gowns
a Cloak and Handkerchief now produced-and further says
that Yesterday this Informant found one of the GownandCloak and
Handkerchief on the said Ann Gimmell< no role >
's person. And the
said Samuel Durant< no role >
Says that the two Gowns now produced
were pawned with him on Saturday last by a Woman who
said her Name was June Watson-And the said George
Gabell< no role >
Says that the Gown now produced by him, was pawned
with him on the same Day in the Name of Sarah Woodward< no role >
