Middlesex to Wit


The Information of Robert Hussey< no role > of Russel Court
in the Parish of Saint Martin in the fields in the
County of Middlesex Linen Draper taken before
me this 11th. day of March 1784

Who being upon Oath says that two persons now present
who call themselves Mary Green< no role > and Mary Bond< no role > came this Evening between the
hours of five and six o Clock into this Informants Shop situate in
Russel Court aforesaid and purchased two Yards of printed Cotton for
which they paid him four shillings and eight penceThat suspecting
they had stolen something in this Informant's Shop he followed
then into Drury Lane and brought them back, saying he
wanted to speak with themThat at the Door of this Informants
Shop the said Mary Green< no role > dropped from under
her Petticoats six Yards and upwards of printedtheCotton
now produced this Informants property & which he is very
Sure was stolen out of his Shop by said Mary Green< no role > and
Mary Bond< no role >
