White Chapel Pawnbroker Ann Perry< no role > his Servant
Samuel Yestesand Samuel Yestis of Barbers Ajard Browns
Lane London Labr . taken before us three of His Majesty's
Justices of the peace in and for the said County the
fifth day of November 1783

Who being upon their Oaths say And First the said
Samuel Milson< no role > for himself Saith that he hath Employed
Joseph Bishop< no role > the person new present about three
Month That he has during this time Cost Divers Articles
out of his Shop that have been Pledged with him and
that the five Silk handkerchiefs and Cotton Handkerchief
and one Linen Handkerchief now produced by Ann
perry
< no role > his Servant are the property of him this
Informant until they are redeemed by the persons who
have pledged them

This Informant Ann perry< no role > for herself Saith that she
Saw the said Joseph Bishop< no role > putting something under
his Waistcoat in her Master the said Saml Milsons
Shop Yesterday about one o'Clock and Suspecting
he had Stole Somethinggoods she went up to him and on
Searching him She found under his Waistcoat Three
of the Silk Handkerchiefs now produced and the
Linen one and found [..] dropped on the Ground
near to the Place where he was Searched the
[..] Cotton handkerchief and one of the Silk ones

And this Informant Samuel Yestes for himself
Saith that after the last mentioned Handkerchiefs
had been taken from the said Joseph Bishop< no role > by the
other Informant Ann Perry< no role > he Searched him Again
and found in his Breeches a Black Silk Handkerchief
which he believes is the same that is now produced
