Place Acting in and for the said County this
8th day of November 1783

Who being upon their Oaths Say and first the said Richard
Nugent< no role > for himself SaithThat on Thursday Night the
30th day of October last the Person now presentWhoSays
his Name is John Carty< no role > Lodged with this Informant
in the same Room in Mansel Street Goodmans Fields
aforesaid That on the Friday Morning following he this Informant
missed a pair of Silver Buckles Which had been
taken away fram and out of his said Room and
that the Silver Buckles now produced by the
other Informant the said William Spence< no role > are the
property of him this Informant and the same that
were taken away as aforesaid.

And this Informant William Spence< no role > for himself
Saith that on Friday the 31st day of October
last he bought ofthe said Ia Person whom
he believes to be the said John Carty< no role > the Silver
Buckles now by him produced and gave him
the Sum of one pound one Shilling and Six pence
for the Same.
