This Informant Thomas Chancellor< no role >
Saith That this Morning
there was stolen from his Dwelling house in old Bou
[..] Lage in the Parish of
Saint Leonard Shoreditch
in the County of Middlesex
one
Womans Black stuff Petty coat his property and further
Saith that the Pettycoat now producedby the

Wolfeis the same Pettycoat that was stolen from his
Dwelling hous as aforesaid
And this Informant George Wolfe< no role >
Saith [..] he is
Collector of the Tolls at the Turnpike Gate
in Old Cock Lane
in the Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch
and that being
informed by a Woman that a Pettycoat had been stolen
from Mr. Thomas Chancellors he ran in pursuit
of the person who stole the same and when he came
into New Inn Yard
near the place where the
Pettycoat was stolen he saw James Gongh< no role >
how under
Examination with a Petty Coat under his Arm on
which he pursued him andwhichGough immediately
dropt the Petty coat and ran away And this Informant
called out step thief and pursued him and did not loose
Sight of him till he was taken and that the Bettycoat
now produced is the same which was dropt by the
said James Gough< no role >
