Middlesex to Wit


The Information of William church< no role > of Cash
Actor in the County of Middlesex Farmer
Steven George of Action aforesaid Butcher
Nicholas Bond< no role > of Action aforesaid Butcher
and Christopher Croxford< no role > one of the Constables
of the Parish of Acton aforesaid taken
before me this 20th. day of October 1783.

Who being upon Oath say, and first the said
William Church< no role > says that on Friday last was a fortnight
in the Night two sheep were stolen from Holder
Common in the said County belonging to this Informant
That he is very sure the skin of a Sheep now produced
is the Stain of one of the Sheep that were so stolen
from off Holder Common aforesaid- The said Steven
George say< no role > that on Monday the Thirteenth day of October
instant he was desired to match two Louis of Mutton
two Legs of Mutton and two Shoulders of Mutton
and to put them together to see whether they belonged
to one Sheep- That he compared them together and
in very sure that they allforwere cut from one
Sheep- And the said Nicholas Bond< no role > says that he
was present when the said Mutton was compared
together and is very sure that the Leg and [..] Loin of
of said Mutton both belonged to one Sheep- The
said Christopher Croxford< no role > says that he searched the House of
