The Information of George Lambs< no role > a Black man
at Mr. Wyat in Pear Snee Alley Wapping and
Mary the Wife of James Lacy< no role > [..] at No. 1 Cable Street
Whitechapel Salesman taken this 13 oct 1783

Who beeing on Oath and first the said George Lambs< no role > sageth
that on Wednedsay last his Chert which was then in the
RoomWash hour belonging to the house in which he Lodged at Mr. Wyat aforesaid Warbroke
open a Pompadour Colour Coat Waistcoat and breeches his property was stole
therein that he suspects the Prisoner who says his name
is [..] charles Warner< no role > Stole the same

The said Mrs. Mary lacy< no role > for herself saith that on
Tuesday or Wednesday last a Blackman who she
believes was the Prisoner because he informs her
the mony he asked and she paid him for the said Cloths
correspond with the fact and that there were only
One Black of whom she bought any long cloths of
