Middlesex to wit


The Information of Dorothy Shipley< no role > taken
before me this 29th. day of October 1783.

Who being on Oath says that she is the wife of George Shipley< no role >
now present- That she has known William Templer< no role > now present
about 12 Months. That on Saturday last was a Fortnight the
said William Templer< no role > being at this Informants House at Priors
Place near Acter, requested this Informant to came to his House
and he Templer would give her some Mutton. That this
Informant accordingly went to said Templer's House on the
said Saturday, when said Templer gave her a Breast and
a Neck of Mutton (which appeared to have been first killed
desiring this Informant to give the Breast to Michael Harterly's
Wife who then lived at Priors Place and to keep the Neck
herself. That said Templer at the same time requested
this Informant to callonhim again the next Day for more
Mutton. That the next Day she went again to said Templer's
House when said Templer gave her a Leg. Loin, Shoulder
and Breast of Mutton, desiring she would gave one of said
Joints to said Harterly's wife which she did viz the
Shoulder.
