taken before me this 18th. day of October 1783.
Who on their Oath say and first the said George Homan< no role >
says
that a Dun Mare now produced is this Informant property
and was feloniously Stolen in a Place called Old Field
near
Maidenhead in the County of Berks in the Right of Saturday
last the 11st Instant. And the said Joseph Errington< no role >
says
that on the following Morning (Sunday) between 6 & 7 o'Clock
a Person now present who calls himself Robert Bampton< no role >
brougth the said Mare to this Informant house and suspecting
the Mare to have been Stolen, he stopped the said Bampton
and Mare likewise.
