The Information of Henry Perez< no role > Susannah
Allen
< no role > and Thomas Seaton< no role > taken before me this
26th. day of September 1783.

Who being on Oath Say and first the said Henry Perez says that
a Coachman now present who calls himself William Clark< no role > (whose
Coach was Numbered 245) was employed by the said Susannah
Allen
< no role > on Sunday night last, and Whilst the said Wm. Clark
was in Waiting for her at the Door of No: 3 in Hart Street
Bloomsbury , this Informant gave into the hands of the said
William Clark< no role > , a Trunk and Bundle belonging to James Mapp Allan, to
take care of and which Trunk and Bundle the said William Clark< no role > put
into his Coach in this Informants presence. And the said
Susannah Allen< no role > says that when she got into said Coach,
she saw and folt the Trunk, but not the Bundle, and when
she got out of the Coach at No 38 in Hatten Street, she
did not seek for either Trunk or Bundle they having slipt
her memory and this Informant further says that the Trunk
and Bundle contained Several pair of Stockings, Shirts,
Waistcoats Several pair of nankeen Breeches, one Coat
and other Wearing Apparell, the property of James Mapp Allen
And this Informant further says She doth Inspect and
verily believe that the said William Clark< no role > did feloniously
steal the said Trunk and Bundle containing the said
Wearing Apparell. And the said Thomas Seaton< no role > says
that he is Servant to the said Susannah Allen< no role > . That when his
said Mistress got out of said Coach in Hatten Street, this Informant
paid said William Clark< no role > two Shillings as his Fare, but did not
examine the Coach for the Trunk or Bundle. That this Informant went
in and Street the Door, and upon his Mistress missing the Trunk and
Bundle, he went out, but the Coachman & Coach were gone.
