Middlesex to wit


The Information of Henry Green< no role > Gentleman
Surgeons Mate of His Majesty's Ship Licorne
and William Ansell< no role > of Covent Garden Theatre
Gentleman taken before me this 20th. day of
September 1783.

Who being on Oath say and first the said Henry Green< no role > Says,
that last Night as this Informant was going up the Two Shilling
Gallery Staircase in Covent Garden Theatre, his Pocket was
picked of a Purse now produced containing One Guinea, by
a Person now present who calls himself Daniel Angus< no role > . That
upon finding the said Angus's Hand in his pocket he missed
his said Purse and secured the said Angus. And the said
William Ansell< no role > says that shortly after the above transaction
he found the Purse and Guinea now produced, on the Two
Shilling Gallery Stairs aforesaid.
