this 30th. day of Septemr. 1783.

Who being on Oath say and first the said William Thomas< no role > for
himself says that he is Servant to Eleanor Baynes< no role > of Hampstead .
That between 10 and 11 o'Clock at Night on Monday the 22nd. Inst.
he fastened the Window of the Puntry belonging to his said
Mistresses House, Previous to his going to Bed. And the said
Elizabeth Dalby< no role > says that she is also Servant to the said Eleanor
Baynes< no role > and that when she got up on the following Mornings
which was a little after 4 o'Clock, she perceived that the Pantry
Window had been taken out, and the Wash house robbed of
a Quantity of Wet Linen now produced, part of which [..]
property of this Informant. And the said Ann Straffon< no role >
says that the whole of the Linen now produced is the
Property of this Informant the said Eleanor Baynes< no role > and
Elizabeth Dalby< no role > , and was feloniously stolen in the Wash house
of the said Eleanor Baynes< no role > 's house on Monday Night the 22nd.
Inst. And the said Thomas Harwood< no role > says that a little past
6 o'Clock in the Morning of Tuesday the 23d. Inst. he saw a Man
in a pourpadour coloured Coat in his Master's Field at Cold Bath Fields ,
and a Woman at some little distance form him. That this
Informant told said Man that there was no Thorough fare
in said Fields but said Man still kept on and picked up
a Bundle, shortly after which another Man joined him. That
upon this Informant pursuing said two Men they ran off (and as
this Informant believes) gave said Woman two Bundle. That this
Informant afterwards followed said Woman and upon being informed
by Elizabeth Hay cock, that said Woman had thrown two Bundles
over some Railing which she had passed, he turned back and
