1789.
Who being on Oath say and first the said Dorothy Stevens< no role >
for
herself saith that on Wednesday the 24th. Instant in the yard of her
house on Newington Green
she this Informant had three sheets hanging
to Dry and also on the Grass a Waistcoat and a Shirt, and this Informant
saith that she saw the Said Sheets hanging in said yard at ½ past Six
o Clock in the evening, and on going into the yard again about 7 o Clock she
this Informant found the said Sheets waiscoat and Shirt had been Stolen
and this Informant further says that the two Sheets the Waistcoat and
shirt now produced are her property. and James Allen< no role >
for himself
Saith that on Wednesday evening the 24th. Instant between 8 & 9 o Clock
he this Informant met two men Namely James Bagnall< no role >
and James
Bunnell< no role >
now present between Islington
and Newington Green
with a bundle
which contained the Sheet waistcoat and shirt now produced
