Who being on Oath say and first the said Gerard William Groote< no role >
says, that on Tuesday Morning last between 12 and One o Clock this
Informant was Hobbed in a Hackney Coat No 960 in Greek Shut
Joho by a Single Footpad, of a Metal Watch and Seuts
new produced, and a Guinea and one Shilling, and further says
he doth verily believe that a Person now present who calls
himself George Morley< no role >
is the Footpad who robbed this
Informant as aforesaid. And the said Sophia Grovle
says that she was with her Husband at this time, but was
not robbed of any thing; and further Says she doth verity
that the said George Morley< no role >
is the identical Footpad
who robbed her Husband as aforesaid. And the said John
Maxfield< no role >
says that he drove the Coach at this time, and does
verily believe that the said George Morley< no role >
is the Person who
stopped his Coach and robbed Mr Groote as aforesaid. And

last he apprehended the said George Morley< no role >
in Bed in Princes
Street
Drury Lane
, with the Watch and Seals now produced
under his Pillow, and the Pistol now produced in his Coat
pocket in his Bed room.
