taken before me this 3rd. day of September
1783.
Who being on Oath say and first the said Thomas Fellows< no role >
Esqr. for himself says that as this Informant was travelling
in his Chariot from London to Uxbridge, on Thursday the
24th of July last he was stopped by two Highwaymen
between the 8 and 9 Mile stones, a little after Eight o' Clock
in the Evening who robbed him of a Purse containing Juice
Guineas or thereabouts a Silver Gilt Watch with a Chair,
and two gold Seals And this Informant further says he is
very sure that a Person now present who calls himself
William Sharman< no role >
is one of the said Highwayman, and
the Person who took his Purse and Money but not his
Watch and Seals those being taken by his Companion
And the said John Dixon< no role >
says that he apprehended the
said William Sharman< no role >
on Saturday last was sevenight,
near the Middlesex Hospital
, and in his Breeches Pocket
found the Pistol now produced by this Informant. And
the said John Clark< no role >
says that he was with the said John
Dixon< no role >
at this time, and found the Pistol now produced by
him, in said Sharmans boat pocket, and the Mark now
produced in a Drawer in his Bed room.
