night about Eleven o'Clock, the Maid said to the Young
Woman she would be very glad if she would go down and
lay in the Parlour as no Body lay there, for fear of
disturbing her, for that she had a pain in her Bowels and
the Gripes, the young Woman answered the Maid, that
she would not disturb her, for that there were two Room
and she might take a Pot and go into another Room
the young Woman then went out of the Room, on pretence
of going into the Yard, and went to Mrs. Marsh, and
told her that her Maid was very ill, beleives she said
she was in Labour, that Mrs. Marsh answered why
hang the Girl she never told me she was Child, that
Mrs. Marsh went up Stairs to the Maid, and said Becky
have not I asked you several times if you was not with
Child, and you always desired it, she said why Ma'm I am
not with Child now I have only a pain in my Bowels, the
Maid then wanted Mrs. Marsh to go down Stairs, she did
not want her in the Room with her, the Maid then asked for
the Chamber pot, said she wanted to make Water, and that
then something came away from her, Mrs. Marsh told the
Young
