and George Wheatley< no role > taken before me
this 15th: day of March 1775

Who being upon Oath say and first the said Henry Drummond< no role >
for himself says that on Tuesday the 7th. day of March Instant
Robert Perrean published to this Informant as true a certain
Bond which he verily believes to be the Bond now produced
purporting to be the Bond of William Adair< no role > Esquire in the
penal sum of fifteen thousand pounds upon Condition that
the said William Adair< no role > should pay to Robert Perrean< no role > his
Executors Administrators or Assigns seven thousand five hundred
pounds on the twenty fifth day of July next ensuring the date
thereof with Interest the said Bond being dated the twenty
fifth day of January one thousand seven hundred and
seventy five, that the Said Robert Perrean said the said
Bond was the Bond of Mr. Adair of Pall Mall who was
lately an Agent, that the said Robert Perrean left the
said Bond with this Informant and the same day called
on this Informant again and told he that he hadjust
seen Mr. Adair and that Mr. Adair acknowledged to him
that the said Bond was his signing that the said
Robert Perrean said he was acquainted with the said
Mr. Adair, that, the said Robert Perrean desired this
Informant to advance him five thousand pounds and
