William Chetham< no role > of Lilly Pot Lane London Gentleman and Richard
Jackson
< no role > of Windmill Alley White Chapel in the County of Middlesex
Joinerjointly and severally make Oath and first the said
William Chetham< no role > for himself saith that William Wardell< no role > together with
one Patrick Saint John lately deceased were on or about the second
Day of November last committed by Sir John Feilding< no role >
Knight and William Addington< no role > Esquire to the Gaol of Newgate on the
Oath of Lewis Daval and John Clark< no role > on Suspicion of having feloniously
and burglariously brokeand entered the Dwelling House of Lady
Ann Parsons< no role > in Dublin in the Night time and feloniously taken and
carryed away a Gold Watch a Pair of Diamond Ear Rings and other things
the Property of the said Lady Ann Persons as appears to this Deponent by the Warrant of their Commitment to the said
Gaol And this Deponent saith that he was Employed on behalf of the said
Lady Parsons to procure an Order from one of his Majesty's Principal
Secretaries of State to remove the said William Wardell< no role > to Dublin in
the Kingdom of Ireland there to be tried for the said Felony and this Deponent
saith that such Order was afterwards as this Deponent was informed
and verily believes made out to convey the said William Wardell< no role > to
Dublin aforesaid in Order to take his Trial at the next Session of
Gaol Delivery to be held for the said City on the Twenty fifth Day of
February instant and was delivered to Mr. Haley one of his Majesty's
Messengers as this Deponent was informed and believes And this
Deponent saith that the said John Clark< no role > who was one of the Persons
attending at the Office of the said Sir John Fielding< no role > was in this
Deponents Judgment a Material Witness against the said William
Wardell
< no role > and that without the Benefit of the Testimony of the said John
Clark
< no role > on the Trial of the said William Wardell< no role > the said Lady Parsons
could not Prosecute the said William Wardell< no role > with Effect for the said
Felony and therefore it became absolutely necessary for the said John
Clark
< no role > to go to Dublin to give Evidence such Trial of the said
William Wardell< no role > And this Deponent saith that he saw the said
