The Information of Alexander
Donaldson
< no role > and Thomas Hall< no role >
taken before Us three of his Majestys
Justices of the peace for the said County

Who beingseverallyupon Oath [..] this
Informant Alexander Donaldson< no role > for himself saith
that he is a Constable of the Parish of Saint Mary
Le Bone that between three & 4' oClock on Monday
Morning last this Informant being Constable of the
night and at the Watch house that he was present
when the three persons now present who call themselves
John Dale< no role > John Smith< no role > and Robert Street< no role > were
brought in prisoners soon after the Watchman
Joseph Quick< no role > came running in almost out of Boveth
& told this Informant that he had Committed an
Error in lotting a Man go who had a heavy Iron
thing with Lead at both Ends & a Crooked handle
and desired this Informant to go with him to no
51 in Wimpole Street a Cheesmongers Shop
and two Keys now produced being found upon Robert
Street
< no role > which this Informant Imagined to be the
Keys of the Cheesmongers House he took along
with him & then this Informant & the sand Joseph
Quick
< no role > and Thomas Hall< no role > went to the said
Cheesmongers and tried the Keys in the Door Lock
but finding it would not open he did not force it but
a Woman came with a Light in her hand & Opened
the Door upon which this Informant & the others
Entered and which Woman he have since discovered
was Dales Wife and went in and as had if Mr
Dale was at home she say'd No 1 she [..] had been sitting
up for him and expected him in every Minutes & this
Informant [..] a Man sitting in the Parlour
which proves to be a Person now present who
calls himself Robert Smith< no role > and Joseph Quick< no role >
