day of Decemr. instant as followeth vizt.

This Comee in pursuance of an Order of Court of the 7th
day of Octor. Last taken into Consideration the Petition of Danl
Vaughan
< no role > This name instance is in set 1321. Weaver Setting forth that he had Served his
apprenticeship wth Gabriel Bestman< no role > weaver one of the artsmar . of
this hospital and had been made free of the City by Order of their
Court and was Sett up for himselfe in his said Trade in horse
Shoe alley in old Street And praying Some part of Mr. Locks gift
the better to enable him to carry on his said Trade And their Comee
upon inquiry are Satisfied that the said Daniel Vaughan< no role > This name instance is in set 1321. is Settup
in his said Trade as in his Petition is alleadged but this Comes [..]
fine that he was by Ordr. of Court of the first day of Septr. 1710-
Comitted to the Hemp Clocks to Labour for being concerned in the
Tumult and disorder Comitted in Cheap side but it door not appeare
that there was any other Complaint made agt. him dureing his
apprenticeship but on ye Contrary that he be haved himselfe very
well all his time Except in that one instance And in regard
[..] he has a wife and two Children and is very industrious and
has obtained a very good Character in the world This Comee are
of Opinion to give him five pounds of Mr. Lock's Gift the better
to enable him to carry on his Trade and maintance her family all
which nevertheless ther Comee Submit to the Judgment of the Court
This Court doth Confirme the same Order that the
Clerk do pay the said Daniel Vaughan< no role > This name instance is in set 1321. Five pounds to be allowed him as her
next account
