said City this second day of December 1789.
Who being upon Oath say And first Informant Thomas

says that last Night he saw the [..] Person
now present who Calls himself of Robert Pearson< no role >
(and who
was Employed as a Journeyman Painter
in the said
William Wrathall< no role >
's have) go up a [..] pair of Steps in a parlour [..] apart
of the Shop where he had been painting and take out
of a place there a pair of Brittannia Metal Salts and that the said
Robert Pearson< no role >
put the said Salts in his Pocket and
when he had done Workhewent out of said Shop
And Informant
William Wrathall< no role >
saith that being
informed by the other Informant
Thomas Walter< no role >

the said Robert Pearson< no role >
had taken the said Salts he sent
for a Constable and caused the said Robert Pearson< no role >
to be
taken into Custody and upon Searching him found
the Metal Salts new produced in his Right hand Coat
Pocket and which Salts are the property of Informant
