Who being upon Oath sat and first Informant

says that the
Person now present who Calls himself Patrick Hagan< no role >
was Employed in this Deponents
Warehouse
about three Months ago And that the Woollen Stuff now produced called
Long Ell he verily beleives was feloniously stolen from him and is the property of
his Deponent
and his partner

for himself saith that on Saturday Night last between 6 and 7 o'Clock he met the
said Patrick Hagan< no role >
in Petty coat Lane
and that said Hagan shewed him the
piece of Staff now produced and offered to sell in to Informant for a shilling per
Yard and said that the same belonged to himself but Informant
suspecting the said
Hagan had not Come by the possession thereof honestly sent for a Constable, And
caused said Hagan to be [..] taken to the Warehouse, where the said
Hagan after a shal twice pushed Informant
from the Door and made his
Escape but was brought back by Informant

he stopped him and Conveyed him to the Watchhouse
