Examination TextElizabeth Bridell aged about 42 years lodging with Mrs Massey at the house formerly Mrs Graham's in Mays buildings in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the wife of Abraham John Bridell (gone from her) to whom she was married at St Mary Magdalen's Church in Old Fish Street London about 17 years ago, that he is a Brewer trade and lived in and rented an house known by the sign of the One Tun in the Strand in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid the space of one year and upwards at the yearly rent of 30 pounds and upwards besides taxes, when quitted the same this Examinant can't tell, that he hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year or paid any parish taxes since to this Examinant's knowledge, and further this Examinant saith that he refuses to maintain or provide for this Examinant.
