Examination Text | Thomas Goodale aged 52 years and upwards in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon his oath saith that he is Vintner by trade and lived in and rented an house known by the sign of Three Staggs and Naggs Head in White Hart Yard in the Parish aforesaid for the space of five years at the yearly rent of 16 pounds besides taxes, quitted the same about four years ago and hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Taken in the workhouse the 23rd Day of December 1751. |
