| Examination Text | Martha Midon aged about 40 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith she never was married bound an apprentice kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together, that her father Francis Midon (kept school) and lived in and rented an house in Dukes Court in the Parish aforesaid but how long a time or what rent he paid for the same she this Examinant can't tell, and that he died in the said house. Taken in the workhouse the 9th Day of December 1751. |
