Examination TextTobitha Harley [sic] aged about 30 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St Margaret Westminster upon her oath saith that she is the wife of Robert Harley (gone from her) to whom she was married at Windsor of five years ago, that her said husband has informed this Examinant that he served his apprenticeship to William Gibson, Coffeeman in Scotland Yard in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields, since which time he never kept house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together, that she has two children by her said husband to wit Mary aged four years and upwards and Tibitha [sic] aged 10 months now with this Examinant. Sworn the 26th Day of November 1751 before James Fraser.
