Examination Text | Warren Griffith aged 67 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St Margaret within the liberty of Westminster upon his oath saith he is a Colourer and Perfumer of Gloves and lived in and rented an house in Charles Court in the Strand in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of three years at the rent of 12 pounds besides taxes, quitted the same about six years and hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant since. Sworn the 12th Day of November 1751 before Benjamin Cox. |
