Examination TextJudith Dunn aged 42 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the wife of James Dunn (gone to sea) to whom she was married at the Fleet between four and five years ago, that her said husband before his intermarriage with this Examinant lived in and rented an house in St Martin's Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid as he her said husband hath informed this Examinant, but what rent he paid for the same or how long he kept the said house or when quitted it she this Examinant cannot tell, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since he quitted the said house in St Martin's Lane to this Examinant's knowledge. Taken in the workhouse the 31st Day of August 1757.
