Examination TextElizabeth Butler aged 65 years in the Workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields on her oath saith that she never was Married that she was a yearly hired servant to Mrs Veale a Glover near Salisbury Street in the Strand in the Parish aforesaid for the space of One year and an half all under One hiring at the yearly wages of Four pounds diet and Lodging quitted the same about 14 years ago , that she hath not Kept House rented a Tenement of ten Pounds by the year paid any Parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired Servant in any one Place for twelve Months together since.
