| Examination Text | Mary Smith aged Years on her Oath saith that she is the Wife of James (gone from her) to whom she was married in the Parish Church St Giles in the Fields, in the County of Middlesex , that her said Husband served his Apprenticeship to Mr Thorne a Harness Maker in the Strand in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields within the Liberty of Wesrtmr in the aforesaid County; Bayern she had three Children to wit James aged 14 years, Phobe aged six years (now at Dover) & Sarah aged 3 Months, the foresaid Jas. her Son now removed from the Parish of St Luke Middlesex that she this Deponents Husband hath not done any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement.
