Examination Textthe examination of Hannah Jones Lodging at Mr Dundas Taylor in Hewitts Court in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields Taken the Eighth Day of November in the Year 1785. This Examining on her Oath saith that that she is 22 Years of Age that she is the Widow of John Jones who Died about Nine Months ago , to him she was Married in the said Parish Church the Thirteenth Day of July ended year . one thousand Seven Hundred and Eightythat he her said Husband never was bound and Apprentice Kept House rented a tenement of Ten pounds by the year paid any Parish taxes nor was a yearly hired Seven in any One Place for 12 Months together that her said Husband's Father is the Hair Dresser and lived in and Rented a house in Lambeth Butts in the Parish of St. Mary at Lambeth in the County of Surrey for the space of Eight Months at the yearly Rent of Twelve pounds besids taxes quitted the same about three Months ago that he this Examinants Father in Law hath not Kept House rented a tenement of etn pounds by the year nor paid any Parish taxes since that she has one Child by aforesaid Husband to wit John aged one year and Nine Months all know with this examinant.
