Examination TextPatrick Hore aged 66 years now in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon his oath saith that he lived in and rented an house (now Mr Wilson's Stock Broker) known by the name of the Union Coffee House near Charing Cross in the Parish aforesaid for the space of nine months at the yearly rent of 50 pounds besides taxes, quitted the same in the year 1751, that he hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year or paid any parish taxes since, that he was married to his present wife Ann at Paris in France about 48 years ago now with this Examinant. Sworn the seventh Day of February 1764 before Benjamin Cox.
