Examination Text | John Ipe aged 20 and upwards in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon his oath saith he was born in Germany, that he was a yearly hired servant to Mr Major a Furrier in Panton Street in the Parish aforesaid for the space of two years at the yearly wages of 12 pounds diet and lodging, that he had not kept house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant since he quitted the said Mr Major's. Taken in the workhouse the 20th February 1764. |
