| Examination Text | Henry Smith aged 65 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon his oath saith that he was bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to Mr Aldridge a Currier in Langley Street in the Parish aforesaid and there served all his said time out which expired about 30 years ago, that he never kept house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant since. Taken in the workhouse the 23rd of January 1764. |
