Examination TextLimbrey Martin aged 60 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St Luke in the County of Middlesex upon his oath saith that he was bound an apprentice by indenture for seven years to Samuel Jennings a Weaver in Bayleys Alley in the Strand in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields and there served all his time out, that he never kept house (except the said house in Bayleys Alley where he served his apprenticeship for which he paid 8 pounds per ann.) rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant since the expiration of his said apprenticeship. Taken in the workhouse the ninth day of April 1764.
