Examination TextCecilia Morton aged 16 years and upwards in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St. George Hanover Square upon her oath saith that she never was married bound an apprentice kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together, that her father and mother are both dead, that she this Examinant hath heard her mother say that her husband this Examinant's Father lived in and rented an house in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields, but how long her father kept the said house, what rent he paid for the same nor when quitted it she this Examinant cannot tell, nor does she this Examinant know nor ever heard that her father or mother ever kept any other house afterwards.
