Examination TextRobert Pristnall aged 70 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St. Mary Stratford Bow in the County of Middlesex upon his oath saith that he was bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to his Father Robert Pristnell, Coach and Coach Harness Maker in Little Russell Street in the Parish of St Giles in the Fields and there served five years, and then he this Examinant was assigned to Mr Meacham a Coach Maker opposite the Bagnior in Long Acre in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields, and there served two years, the remainder of his said time out, which expired about 50 years ago, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant since, that he was married to his wife Mary at St. Mary Ratcliff's Church in the city of Bristol between 12 and 13 years ago. Sworn the 23rd Day of August 1762 before Benjamin Cox.
