Examination Text | Ann Morris aged 32 years lodging at Mrs Brown's in Pump Court in White Hart Yard in Drury Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mrs. Kidney a Victualler at the sign of the George near Earls Court in that part of Drury Lane which is in the Parish aforesaid for the space of two years and upwards at the yearly wages of 4 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about one year and an half ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the ninth day of July 1762 before Benjamin Cox. |
